Leap has strong links with a number of organisations across
the UK:
We are very grateful for the support of Quaker
Peace and Social Witness and have been delighted to welcome, for a
second time, a secondee, supported by QPSW under their Peace and Justice
Workers' Programme. Our new worker will be supporting the development of
the Young Mediators' Network from September 2003 - September 2004.
Youth
Access, the national umbrella organisation of youth information,
advice, guidance and support agencies, with whom we run a joint
training project. The joint project offers high quality training
for Personal Advisers and Youth Workers, working within the
Connexions
service.
The
National Youth Agency,
who have been the lead publishers of
Leap’s
training manuals publications.
Alternatives
to Violence Project, a volunteer training and development
organisation with whom we jointly developed a 4-year project
in London prisons (1995-1999).
London Borough of Tower Hamlets Education Department with whom
we have developed confronting conflict programmes across 5 secondary
schools (schools work).
We are active members of a number of umbrella bodies, including
NCVYS (National Council
for Voluntary Youth Services),
Mediation
UK,
The Restorative
Justice Consortium and the
British
Youth Council,
London
Youth,
ACEVO,
London
Open College Network,
London
Voluntary Service Council.
We are very grateful for the time and expertise of
The
Partners who designed our logo and our core booklet, as
well as developing guidelines for presenting our organisation.
